Is the San Francesco Camping Village right by the lake?
The camping site is right by the lake, at the beginning of the Sirmione peninsula, between the towns of Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed. They must be kept on a lead at all times. Large dogs must wear a muzzle. A medical pass (with vaccinations) must be shown for all dogs on arrival.
Are dogs allowed on the beach?
No, dogs are not allowed on the beach, they cannot bathe in the lake or in the swimming pool. A dog loo is available.
Does the price of mobile homes include people?
Yes. The prices shown are the price per night per home, people included.
Are cars included in the price of the camping pitch/mobile home?
Yes. One car is included in the price of the camping pitch/mobile home. It must be parked in the camping pitch or in the mobile home’s parking space. It is strictly forbidden to park cars on other pitches or on the road.
Is electricity supplied in the camping pitch?
Yes. Electricity (6 ampere) is included in the price.
Must mobile homes be booked for a minimum number of nights?
Yes. In July and August the minimum length of stay is a week, from Saturday to Saturday.
Must camping pitches be booked for a minimum number of nights?
No.
Is there a disco in the San Francesco Camping Village?
No, but there are a few discos quite close to the campsite.
Is the beach of sand or stones?
The beach is with stones and grass.
Is there a surveillance service in San Francesco Camping Village?
Yes. There is a 24 hour reception service. Staff will provide information and emergency numbers.
Must bathing caps be worn in the pool?
Yes. All swimmers must wear bathing caps that can be bought in the supermarket or from the swimmers' assistance staff.
